Watch out, this Amsterdam-born girl can break your heart with her melancholic folk-pop and her magical voice, inspired by melodies of Joni Mitchell, beautiful sadness of Sparklehorse and choral singing of Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares. Her debute EP from 2016 was announced by Beehype to be one of the best releases of the year. The first single of her new EP 'Problems' describes that she rather lives her life with ups and downs, rather than being stuck in a monotone life. Pitou was invited as one of the first artists for The Great Escape in Brighton and played at Celtic Connections in Glasgow. The British newspaper 'The Independent' writes about her as one of the 'Ones to watch in 2018'. On 13 May her second EP 'I Fall Asleep So Fast' will be released. Next to new music, new instruments can be expected: drums, piano, and accordion will support her voice.
